Next year, Aprilia will have Jorge Martín as one of its riders in MotoGP. The current Pramac rider has proven to be one of the most talented in the field, leading the championship after seven races.
Additionally, he was the vice-champion last year and, despite being in a satellite team, fought for the title until the end with Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati’s factory team. Now, he will move to Aprilia in 2025, raising expectations and ambitions in Noale… but also the responsibility.
Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, admitted to GPOne.com: ‘There are no more excuses, that is what we told each other in the company: the good news is that Jorge is coming, I hope alongside Maverick because they would form a star duo. The bad news is that we will have no more excuses’.
Rivola assured that Aprilia handles the obligation to achieve results well: ‘The pressure has to increase because our growth path must lead us to fight for victory. This year we are not far off, we are just missing the last step’.
