The battle for the MotoGP title is thrilling in this early stage of the season, with at least three standout contenders – Jorge Martín, Francesco Bagnaia, and Marc Márquez.
Among these, Márquez is at a disadvantage: he has last year’s Ducati and is still getting to grips with the bike and understanding how to ride it optimally after a decade with Repsol Honda.
The site Relevo asked Andrea Dovizioso whether his former rival has what it takes to be champion this year. In response, the Italian said:
– I don’t know because I don’t know the difference between his bike and the factory one. I can’t quantify it. The other factor to consider is that the other two factory riders have known the bike for two years. This has always been decisive, and I think it will continue to be until the end.
