Toprak Razgatlioglu has done it again in Misano, winning just moments ago the WorldSBK Superpole Race! The turkish is more and more leader in the championship, extending it after disaster stroke for Álvaro Bautista who crashed with five laps to go.
The rider leader of the race was Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), leading from the first lap to the third, but after that is a was Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) to get on the lead and trying to go away.
If the turkish was doing his part in the lead, Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was trying to get going but, with five laps to the checkered flag he crashed at turn 10. He eventually rejoined but was too far behind to even get to the points.
Razgatlioglu then extended his lead in the championship, ending the racing with a 1.651s gap to Bulega, while Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) was third, taking the last place on the podium.
Andrea Locatelli was the best Yamaha rider on track, while Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven) returned to the top five results.
