The tenth round of the MXGP took place this weekend at Italy, Maggiora, with Tim Gajser and Jeffrey Herlings to win both races, one each. In the end it was Gajser once again to take the red plate, being the rider who secured more points overall.
Gajser (Honda) was the great winner of the first race, with a win that came with a 1.374s gap over Jorge Prado (GASGAS), in second, while Herlings (KTM) in third. Calvin Vlaanderen was fourth (Yamaha). As for Jeremy Seewer (Kawasaki) was fifth.
In the second race it was Herlings to take the win, in front of Gajser, with a difference of 11.833s. Seewer improved significantly and came third, but crossed the finish line 53.624s.
Brian Bogers (Fantic) was fourth, in front of Vlaanderen (Yamaha) was fifth.
In the end, Gajser was the one who added more points, 47, while Herlings took 45. Further way was Seewer with 36, with Vlaanderen taking 34, and Bogers with 33.
Looking at the championship leaderboard Gajser has now a total of 511, Prado has 477, and Herlings 440.
