Pramac has part of its future in MotoGP confirmed, after announcing last week a new partnership with Yamaha starting in 2025. There are no riders officially contracted yet, but at least one is out of the running: Toprak Razgatlioglu.
Recently, the manager of the ROKiT BMW World Superbike rider told the press that the team had already been informed of his intention to move to MotoGP. It remains to be seen which team he is targeting. It is certain that he left Yamaha at the end of last year, after also having an unsuccessful test with the YZR-M1.
At a time when the agreement with the Iwata constructor is still recent, riders have not yet been discussed – with discussions and decisions happening over the next few weeks.
However, Razgatlioglu was a possibility already ruled out by owner Paolo Campinoti, who told the official MotoGP website: ‘That I think is only… I mean, it’s only gossip. It won’t happen, 100%’.
