The weekly report from the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), revealed this Monday, indicates that the average price of gasoline has increased by 0.2%, and by 0.4% for diesel.
According to the ERSE document revealed this Monday, the efficient price has been updated, “taking into account the weekly variation of international quotations for regular gasoline by +0.9% and for regular diesel by +0.4%”.
Thus, for the week of July 1st to 7th, “the Preço Eficiente before taxes is €0.848 per liter for regular gasoline and €0.870 for regular diesel. After taxes, the Preço Eficiente amounts to €1.754 per liter for regular gasoline and €1.616 for regular diesel”.
The ERSE reminds that the efficient price “is a weekly average price estimated by the ERSE and results from the sum of the following components: fuel prices in reference international markets and their maritime freight, primary logistics, including strategic and security reserves of the National Oil System, additional costs for the incorporation of biofuels, and the retail component increased by the respective taxes”.
Regarding the previous week, the report indicates that “it was found that the average Prices Advertised to the Public on the signs, and reported in the Single Energy Counter, were 2.9 cents per liter above the efficient price for that week, in the case of regular gasoline, and 4.4 cents above in the case of regular diesel”.
In percentage terms, “95 gasoline was announced on the billboards 1.6% above the Efficient Price and simple diesel was announced 2.7% above,” according to the ERSE report.
