Francesco Bagnaia added another podium, this time at the MotoGP Thai Grand Prix. The rider was one of the three involved in an intense and lively battle for victory, in which he ultimately finished third. However, Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) ahead of him was penalized for exceeding track limits and he was promoted to second.
The Italian Ducati rider admitted to the official broadcast that it was an exciting race in which he had some challenges to overcome to achieve a strong result, especially after a somewhat turbulent start in Buriram:
– I was feeling like I was in a gaming room, it was incredible – like the pinball! Coming back was not easy for the tyre consumption, on the last lap I was a bit on the limit. But finishing second it’s positive for the championship, considering the weekend, considering where I was at the start. I’m very happy overall and we have to continue like this.
