The weekly report from the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), revealed this Monday, states that the average price of gasoline increased by 1.2%, and by 1.9% for diesel.
According to the ERSE document, the efficient price has been updated, “taking into account the weekly variation of international prices for regular gasoline by + 2.8% and for regular diesel by + 3.9%”.
Therefore, “for the week of June 24th to 30th, the Preço Eficiente before taxes is €0.842 per liter for regular gasoline and €0.867 for regular diesel. After taxes, the Preço Eficiente is €1.747 per liter for regular gasoline and €1.612 for regular diesel”.
It should be noted that the efficient price “is a weekly average price estimated by ERSE and is the sum of the following components: fuel prices in reference international markets and their maritime freight, primary logistics including strategic and security reserves of the National Petroleum System, additional costs for the incorporation of biofuels, and the retail component plus respective taxes”.
Regarding the previous week, the report states that “it was found that the average Public Selling Prices announced on the signs, and reported in the Single Energy Counter, were 3.5 cents per liter above the efficient price for that week, in the case of regular gasoline, and 4.7 cents above in the case of regular diesel”.
In percentage terms, “95 regular gasoline was announced on the billboards 2% above the Efficient Price and regular diesel was announced 2.9% above,” according to the ERSE report.
