Pramac Racing is getting closer to becoming the MotoGP teams’ champion. In the Thailand Grand Prix, the Italian structure extended its lead in the championship.
With the results in Buriram, Pramac now has 570 points, which is 96 points more than the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in second place. Ducati, the top factory team, is in third place and trails the leader by 126 points.
There are 198 points still available until the end of the season, so there’s one more team mathematically in contention: Red Bull KTM, which is 177 points behind Pramac.
It’s worth mentioning that Repsol Honda has finally moved out of last place, leaving it to GasGas Tech3, which is now the only team that hasn’t reached the hundred-point mark.
In the constructor’s championship, the already-crowned Ducati is 268 points ahead of KTM, a lead that continues to grow. The Austrians are firmly in second place, ahead of Aprilia. In the battle among the Japanese manufacturers, Honda has moved up to fourth place, leaving Yamaha one point behind in last place.
