Toprak Razgatlioglu, from BMW Motorrad Motorsport, emerged victorious in an intense battle during the Superpole in Misano, setting a new lap record in the process. Nicolo Bulega initially achieved the fastest time on his Ducati Panigale V4R, beating Razgatlioglu by just 0.099s. However, Bulega’s time was later disqualified, granting Razgatlioglu the win in the Superpole. Both riders from Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, Bulega and Alvaro Bautista, showcased impressive speed throughout the training sessions leading up to the Superpole. Remy Gardner from GYTR GRT Yamaha and Andrea Iannone from Team GoEleven Ducati also had strong performances. With several contenders vying for the Superpole, the pit lane saw a flurry of activity as the riders took to the track. Razgatlioglu broke the 1:32 barrier, setting a new lap record of 1:32.786s. Despite Bulega’s best efforts, his time couldn’t be surpassed, resulting in Razgatlioglu claiming the top spot. Bulega finished in second place, followed by Gardner in third. Alex Lowes from Kawasaki and Bautista secured fourth and fifth place, respectively. The race in Misano is scheduled to begin at 14:00, local time.
