Senna Agius secured pole position on Saturday for the Valencia round of the European Moto2 Championship. This event marks the end of the season and takes place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
Agius (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP/Kalex) set the fastest time during Qualifying 1, posting a time of 1m34.692s. He was the only rider to dip into the 1m34s in both sessions. Héctor Garzó (NTS MMR/NTS Triumph) proved to be his main rival, but despite improving in Qualifying 2, he was 0.420s behind.
Completing the front row of the grid will be Yeray Ruiz (Fau55 Tey Racing/Kalex), who was 0.780s slower than Agius. The top five is rounded out by Alberto Surra (Team Ciatti Boscoscuro) and Harrison Voigth (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike Racing Team/Kalex).
