Miguel Oliveira is on his first season a board an Aprilia RS-GP, a bike with many good points he assured, but still with some issues mostly at stability. The rider who not long ago terminated all talks about the future is committed on his future but still doesn’t know what he will find next year.
With MotoGP getting faster than ever and now even with two races that force different types of management, the portuguese said speaking to Michel Turco, that nowadays there are two details that and more important than ever:‘The tyres and the way the electronic management has become the key to MotoGP’.
And right after the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP rider addressed his adaptation to a new reality, now at the helm of the Aprilia RS-GP. The #88 praised the bike but revelead there is one key point in which it is missing something: ‘It’s a fantastic and fast machine, but you have to ride it with a lot of precision. It turns naturally and is agile in fast corners, but it lacks stability’.
Despite riding the 2022 bike spec, Oliveira believes he has been delivering some good performances and results, while addressing too what is about to come in 2024, about which he doesn’t know much about: ‘I think I’ve shown that I’m not doing too badly. It will be a new chapter, we’ll see. I don’t really know what the team is negotiating with Aprilia for the future’.
