Jeep doesn’t seem willing to lose its status as a reference brand in off-road in the new era of electric mobility. In this sense, the American brand revealed the concept Wagoneer S Trailhawk, a 100% electric SUV that can easily transition from asphalt to off-road terrain, demonstrating the flexibility of the STLA Large platform and the Jeep Wagoneer S range.
Designed for capability, the Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept features a raised suspension and aggressive design at the front and rear, including tow hooks for intensive use and functional air vents to improve performance in high-pressure zones at high speeds. Additionally, it features huge robust 31.5” all-terrain tires.
The heated and ventilated seats are upholstered in Mantis Green with a unique perforated pattern with chevrons. The finishes include Ultraviolet accent stitching with decorative fabric accents.
Jeep has not revealed details about the powertrain of this Wagoneer S Trailhawk, but it is clear that this concept makes use of exclusively electric technology. It is assumed to use the same battery as the base version of the Wagoneer S, which means two electric motors, one per axle, delivering a total power of 608 hp and 836 Nm. To power the two electric motors, there is a 100 kWh battery capacity, capable of offering a range of up to 482 km.
“The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk concept, developed based on the flexible STLA Large platform, shows what the 100% electric Jeep Wagoneer S range is truly capable of, whether approaching tight curves or traversing new trails off the usual paths.”, stated Antonio Filosa, CEO of the Jeep brand.
