Miguel Oliveira had another challenging Sprint race at the Malaysian MotoGP Grand Prix. Starting from the 19th position on the grid, the Portuguese rider consistently found himself towards the rear but managed to recover to cross the finish line in 18th place.
The CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team rider emphasized that various factors contributed to the struggles. However, he also acknowledged that he didn’t have high expectations and took the opportunity to experiment with aspects in preparation for the main race:
– Starting from where we start, we knew it would be a bit difficult. But anyway we had the intention of just do a pace and try a couple of things for tomorrow. I couldn’t accelerate out of the slower corners to prepare an overtake. It was difficult to stop the bike. Behind the other guys there isn’t something specific that we can do better. So it becomes harder and harder over the laps once you use the grip. I expect a difficult race tomorrow, but anyway we’ll give the best from start to finish and see what we can do.
