Lando Norris, British driver for McLaren, emerged victorious in the Miami Grand Prix, a race in the Formula 1 World Championship. McLaren team director Andrea Stella dismisses the idea that Norris’ win indicates McLaren now has a faster car than Red Bull. Despite introducing new developments at the Miami International Autodrome, Norris was in sixth place until a Safety Car in the middle of the race allowed him to pit and maintain his lead. Stella denies that this performance guarantees success in future races, citing the issues faced by Max Verstappen and his injured RB20 car. Stella acknowledges that the team has improved the car, but warns against assuming that the pace seen in Miami will continue at other circuits. He believes McLaren must continue developing and delivering improvements to consistently challenge Red Bull.
