The BYD announced that the new Seal U, a 100% electric family SUV for the D segment, is now available for pre-order in Portugal and will be available for delivery at the end of June.
The latest model from the Ocean series by BYD, characterized by maritime inspiration, features an attractive X-shaped front with a rounded design. Its balanced proportions continue on the side, where the upper waistline extends from the headlights to the taillights. The wide-bodied design of the rear complements the front face.With 4,785 m in length and 2,765 m in wheelbase, the new SUV shares the technical e-Platform 3.0 architecture developed “tailored” for electric vehicles, with the Seal sedan.
With a range of up to 674km (WLTP urban-combined), fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 28 minutes, Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology that allows charging of external devices, the Seal U uses an 87 kWh Blade Battery.
The BYD Seal U arrives in the Portuguese market at the end of June and will be available in two versions, Design and Comfort, with prices starting at €37,228 (price without VAT) in the Design version. Also at the end of June, the plug-in hybrid variant of the new BYD SUV will also arrive in the national market.
