Dacia took the lead in the passenger car sales market in Portugal in April.
According to data from the Portuguese Automobile Association (ACAP), Dacia topped the sales chart with 1484 registered units, ahead of Mercedes-Benz with 1375 units and VW with 1291 vehicles sold.
Peugeot, which once again was the best-selling brand in the total market of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles, with 1779 new registrations, reached the fifth position in the passenger car table, with 1171 units registered.
It is worth noting that according to data from ACAP, in April, the automotive market in Portugal grew by 14.3% compared to the same period in 2023, with 20,895 new vehicles registered.
