Honda NSX is the sports car of choice and a model highly appreciated by Formula 1 legend, Ayrton Senna, who was involved in the development of the NSX.
The historic Formula 1 world champion, who tragically died in an accident at the San Marino GP on May 1, 1994, was such a fan of the model that he had three NSXs in his garage, and one of them is now for sale on “AutoTrade”.
The model, which was kept for a long time at Senna’s house in Portugal and was featured in the film “Racing Is In My Blood” and immortalized in a famous photograph of the driver washing his Honda NSX, features a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 271 hp and 283 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 265 km/h.
The red Honda NSX of the three-time Formula 1 world champion is for sale with around 63,000 km on the odometer, and the current owner, Robert McFagan, has revealed that he acquired the model in 2013 after a trip to the Algarve, Portugal.
“It was a real pleasure to own one of the most famous cars that belonged to a true sports legend and the thrill of driving a Senna car will never fade away,” revealed Robert McFagan.
For those who may be interested in purchasing Ayrton Senna’s Honda NSX now, it’s good to know that the model is for sale for £500,000, which is about €582,000.
