Keeway recently surprised us by presenting a brand new model in a segment where the brand has no history. The TX450R looks like a motorcycle ready for the Dakar rally and has good specifications for those who want a lot of off-road adventure.
It has a fuel tank with a capacity of 28 liters and the 449 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine should deliver around 42 hp of power. There’s no shortage of protection to withstand off-road abuse and the front inverted fork has a generous 280 mm of travel, with a traditional monoshock fitted at the rear. The wheels are 21″ at the front and 18″ at the rear, and the braking equipment includes material from the renowned Nissin brand.
The instrumentation should consist of a 5” TFT panel, which will record all the data during the journey, and the controls are backlit to make it easier to drive at night.
We’re curious to find out more about this Keeway TX450R, which as yet has no price or availability for our country.
