Jorge Martín emerged as the winner of the MotoGP Valencia GP Sprint race, defeating Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM). This result leaves the Spanish rider 14 points behind the championship lead with one race to go.
The Prima Pramac rider mentioned to the official broadcast that he took a risk with tyre choice and gave his all, approaching the race with a sort of all-or-nothing attitude to stay in the title fight:
– I took a big gamble racing with the medium and the soft rear [tyre] – I think we were a bit on the limit. At some point of the race I saw Brad was pulling away and I was already on the limit. But I put everything into the job, I did my 100% – it was win or crash and it went well. I hope tomorrow with good tyres – both front and rear – I can win again.
