After revealing the new E-5008, Peugeot now presents the seven-seater SUV 100% electric in a video.
The new model that reinforces the electrification strategy of the French brand, uses, like the E-3008, the STLA Medium platform and features a range of zero-emission engines that offer an electric range of 500 to 660 km, including a Dual Motor engine with two electric motors and a long-range version.
The entry into the range is made with the Electric 210 version, with two-wheel drive and equipped with a motor installed on the front axle with 214 hp and 343 Nm, powered by a 73 kWh battery, and promising a range of 500 km.
The other two-wheel drive variant is the Electric 230 Long Range, with a 231 hp motor and an equally 342 Nm torque, powered by a 98 kWh battery for an announced range of 660 km.
At the top of the range is the all-wheel-drive version, Electric 320 Dual Motor with 2 motors, one per axle, offering a total power of 320 hp, combining an electric motor on the front axle of 214 hp and 343 Nm, with a second electric motor installed on the rear axle of 109 hp and 166 Nm.
The two electric motors are powered by a 73 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 500 km.
The high-voltage lithium-ion battery of 400V with NMC chemical composition (nickel, manganese, and cobalt) is located under the floor and can be charged at 11 kW in alternating current (AC) as standard and 22 kW as an option.
For charging in direct current, through fast chargers, the Mode 4 plug of the new E-5008 accepts powers up to 160 kW, which according to Peugeot allows to recover 100 km of range in just 10 minutes and recharge from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes.
Peugeot has already announced that the new E-5008 will hit the market next fall, with a range offering two versions: Allure and GT.
