The Skoda announced that it has updated the “MySkoda” application, which now features new, easier-to-use functionalities that are compatible with all current models.
The updated application now integrates numerous digital services from Skoda Connect, including the new Pay to Park, which simplifies the process of recognizing parking zones and paying for parking in various cities across Europe.
The Pay to Fuel is another new intelligent feature that allows for automatic payments at selected refueling stations, avoiding queues at the cashier.
Skoda also revealed that the new design of the application further enhances the user experience, providing a simplified layout of the home screen. Additionally, essential information – such as battery charging status for fully electric or plug-in hybrid models, or vehicle status – can now be displayed through widgets on the home screen, improving accessibility.
The new “MySkoda” application also adds features for guest users, allowing for remote control of charging and air conditioning for the Enyaq, for example. Furthermore, the new application includes a dynamic news feed with images and articles from the world of Skoda.
“Listening to feedback from our customers is essential to improve their user experience both inside and outside the car through new innovative features. Therefore, we are enhancing the functionality of the “MySkoda” app by migrating all features to a single platform. And with smart services like Pay to Park and Pay to Fuel, we are making the daily lives of many more customers even easier.”, stated Martin Jahn, member of the Skoda Auto Board of Management for Sales and Marketing.
