The Jeep announced the opening of orders for the renewed Renegade, which arrives in Portugal with a starting price of €33,450.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Renegade has nearly 2 million units sold worldwide, and to mark the occasion, the American brand announced a series of updates for the model destined for European markets.
The news is focused on the interior of the well-known Jeep SUV, as it now features a digital instrument panel with 10.25”, along with a 10.1” infotainment system screen, which is 40% larger than its predecessor and has five times more processing capacity.
The infotainment system now has the ability for over-the-air updates and is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, it is equipped with 4G connectivity and a range of other connected features. Thanks to the new infotainment system, the use of connected services becomes simple and seamless. When the Jeep app is connected to the vehicle, interactions between the app’s information and the infotainment system are communicated and synchronized naturally. You don’t need to have the vehicle keys to open, close the doors or turn on the lights when it’s too dark. Just have your smartphone handy and use the remote control function of your app.
Voice commands can support travel at the pace of on-board navigation and can help find the way, anticipate weather conditions during trips, know the location of the nearest parking lots or available charging stations.
The renewed Renegade is available in five different equipment levels: Renegade, Altitude, Summit, Overland, and the top-of-the-line Trailhawk.
In addition to more technology and connectivity, the Renegade features a new steering wheel and the Summit trim level now comes with 18” alloy wheels, while the Overland version is equipped with a digital camera.
The latest Jeep Renegade 2024 offers the possibility to choose between two hybrid drive units: the e-Hybrid and the plug-in hybrid 4xe, which have been updated to improve fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 5%.
