Pedro Acosta made his debut with a MotoGP bike this tuesday at the Valencian MotoGP Tests and in the end couldn’t be happier. Looking at the rookie’s performance with such a bike for the first time, Nicolas Goyon liked what he saw, and believes this is only the start.
GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 Team Manager’s addressed the #31’s first time riding a bike of the category, giving him a positive rating: ‘The last day on track for us but the first day with a view towards 2024. It was an important day and nice to see Pedro on the bike for the first time. After his Moto2 title his next target was to test this bike and it went really well’.
With such power at his hands Acosta was impressed, something normal, the frenchman believes: ‘This machine is always impressive for a rookie because of the power, brakes and devices. There was a lot to discover, and this was just the beginning. I think he enjoyed his day’.
Acosta finished the day with the 18th record, 1.223s from the top while adding 70 laps.
