After the rumors, confirmation: Trackhouse Racing will indeed be part of the MotoGP grid in 2024. Aprilia had scheduled the announcement for 3 p.m. in mainland Portugal, but even before the start of this exclusive broadcast, Motorcyclesports can report that Trackhouse Racing will indeed be home to Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández in the category, succeeding CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP.
According to rumors from the Italian team, the bike that Miguel Oliveira will ride in the next MotoGP season will be the 2024 RS-GP. Everything points to the Portuguese rider having access to the factory riders’ material so that he can be more competitive and reveal his full potential.
Although RNF officials have contested the validity of Dorna, FIM and IRTA’s decision, it is certain that the Trackhouse is a reality.
For now, it’s safe to say that the Trackhouse duo will have the latest version of the RS-GP at their disposal, just like the factory riders. So the North American group’s entry is official and the riders will have the same weapons to finally give Aprilia the best possible feedback
If confirmed, Aprilia will thus have three official bikes on the MotoGP grid, which will be essential for the Italian manufacturer’s evolution next season with access to the data provided by three riders or four (if Raúl Fernandez also has access to a 2024 version) to Aprilia over the course of next season.
