Skoda revealed on Friday the Epiq, a 100% electric model that will hit the market in 2025 aimed at the competitive B-SUV segment.
Unveiled during the 2024 annual press conference, the prototype, already close to the production version, measures 4.1 meters in length and features the new Modern Solid design language, which combines “robustness, functionality, and authenticity,” highlighting a high stance, modern style details, and a distinctive LED lighting signature.
The front adopts a glossy black grille that is a clear interpretation of the traditional “Tech-Deck Face,” housing the distance radar and front camera. The large front bumper features a spoiler painted in Unique Dark Chrome.
The Epiq is equipped with aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels to increase range and features a low, gently sloping roofline that ends in a spoiler contributing to optimal aerodynamic efficiency. The rear also boasts a sturdy bumper and Skoda lettering in Unique Dark Chrome on the tailgate.
In the interior, Skoda revealed that the new 100% electric SUV will be the first production vehicle to feature a minimalist Modern Solid cabin, focusing on durable, practical, and sustainable materials.
In this sense, it features a wireless phone charger on the floating central console, a two-spoke steering wheel, physical buttons to control the main functions, a digital key that allows a wide range of interactions via the smartphone.
In addition, the highlight goes to the central infotainment screen, and the smaller digital instrument panel and a trunk with a capacity of 490 liters.
Skoda also announced that the Epic supports bidirectional charging, which allows reusing the energy stored in the battery to power small appliances.
It is worth noting that the Epic is one of the six models that Skoda will introduce by 2026 as part of its electrification strategy.
