The world of watchmaking and the automotive industry have always crossed paths, with the most reputable brands in the market signing luxury creations and authentic collector’s pieces like this Bovet.
The Swiss watchmaker has been collaborating with Pininfarina since 2010, when Pascal Raffy. The Cambiano, Sergio, Ottanta, and Ottantasei models are the result of this partnership, which now has a new offspring: the Bovet Aperto 1 by Pininfarina.
In Italian, Aperto means “open” and the name refers to the concept of construction with the machinery fully exposed, between two sapphire crystals. The 42mm case is made of grade 5 titanium, which means it prevents fingerprints or any other marks, and the watch is delivered with two rubber straps and a titanium buckle, which can be easily interchanged in a few seconds thanks to Bovet’s patented Amadeo system.
