BMW’s stubbornness to innovate has become a hot topic, but their 3 Series compact executive range is still highly regarded for its classic styling. The same can be said for the Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, although some people find these sedans to be boring. Luckily, there are digital car content creators who can offer alternative designs that surpass the real counterparts. Giorgi Tedoradze, an industrial designer from Georgia, is one of these creators who envisions better-looking models for German brands.
Tedoradze began his design project a while ago, reimagining BMW’s X series of high-riders. He worked on various models, including the X1, X3, X5, and even invented the non-existent X9 as a flagship alternative to the XM. He also shifted his focus to Bavarian passenger cars like the 1 Series and 5 Series, showcasing different styling perspectives.
Now, Tedoradze has turned his attention to Mercedes-Benz. He started with the A-Class, presenting an alternative design for the compact hatchback as it embraces the electric vehicle lifestyle. And there’s more to come. The digital artist has now created a virtual version of the 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, offering a fresh and memorable design. This particular C-Class could work well as an EQC Sedan, alongside the ICE-powered models.
Should Mercedes-Benz consider adopting this alternative styling to enhance the presentation of their EQ models? Would an EQC sedan with the same range of EV powertrains from the MRA platform, including dual-motor all-wheel drive options, find success? These are questions worth pondering.
