SEAT’s fourth-gen Leon, which is essentially the same car as the VW Golf Mk8, is set to receive a facelift in the form of the Cupra Leon. The upcoming Cupra Leon will feature a new grille, a reworked bumper with a larger central air intake, and new headlamps. The profile remains unchanged, with the charging port still located on the left front fender, indicating that this is a plug-in hybrid version. The rear end has been updated with new taillights and a different bumper.
On the inside, the 2024 Cupra Leon is expected to receive a larger infotainment system, new software for the digital instrument cluster, and updates to the center console, steering wheel, upholstery, and trim.
As for the engine lineup, it will include 1.5L and 2.0L units, as well as a 1.4L PHEV producing over 240 brake horsepower. The most powerful 2.0L engine will have over 300 horsepower. While there may be some updates to the engines, no major changes are expected.
The facelifted Cupra Leon is rumored to be unveiled this summer and will be available in both hatchback and station wagon versions.
