The Detroit Lions are on the hunt for defensive reinforcements, and according to NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, they may have found their target in Darius Robinson. Zierlein’s latest NFL mock draft projects the Lions selecting Robinson with the 29th overall pick.
The Lions have been eyeing both interior and edge rushers in free agency and the draft, but Robinson presents a unique opportunity. With his ability to pressure quarterbacks from both positions, he could be a game-changer for Detroit.
Robinson, who made the switch from interior lineman to defensive end at Mizzou, had an impressive season. He recorded 8.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss in 2023, showcasing his versatility and ability to disrupt opposing offenses.
If the Lions were to land Robinson, he would join forces with the existing defensive line to create a fearsome front. With his skills and potential, he could be a key piece in the Lions’ quest for success.
