Le’Veon Bell, the former star running back, is not ready to give up on his NFL career just yet. Despite not having played since Week 18 of the 2021 season, Bell has hinted at a comeback multiple times. In a recent series of Snapchat stories, he laid out his plan for the future.
Bell revealed that he won’t start training until March. He emphasized the importance of being honest with himself and assessing his physical condition before making a decision. “I’m going to put my foot in the ground. Do I feel it? Am I hurting? Can I go out there and really play again?” Bell questioned.
The 31-year-old athlete disclosed that he was diagnosed with arthritis when he was only 20 years old. However, he believes that he is currently in the best shape of his life. Despite this, Bell made it clear that he won’t return to the field for just any team. He confidently stated, “I will only come back for that one team. You all know who it is.”
It’s safe to assume that Bell is referring to his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent five successful seasons with the Steelers but sat out the entire 2018 season due to the franchise tag. Bell’s last appearances in the NFL were in 2021, playing for the Baltimore Ravens and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Since leaving Pittsburgh, Bell has expressed regret and even apologized to the fanbase. Now, it seems he may be trying to make amends by staging a miraculous comeback in 2024. If that doesn’t work out, he can always rely on his OnlyFans account.
