After being testing in Valencia, ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team was also at the spanish circuit with both of their riders. Marc Bongers was very focused on these days of work and liked what he saw, despite not having a way to compared the current level versus that of of the opponents.
BMW Motorrad Motorsport Director, reviewed the tests and said, quoted on the official site of the championship: ‘After the Bonovo Action BMW team tested with Garrett Gerloff and Scott Redding immediately after the season finale at Jerez, we now have been able to start testing with Toprak Razgatlioglu, Michael van der Mark, and the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team. Overall, it was great to welcome Toprak to the team. His initial impressions of the BMW M 1000 RR he conveyed to us have been very positive. He adapted well to the bike right away’.
With the weather conditions to change often, and without data from some of the opponents, it isn’t yet possible to know how the lap time stands against rivals: ‘However, the conditions were challenging, and we had no reference from the competition. Therefore, making an assessment is still difficult’.
