The Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE) revealed that the average weekly price of fuels decreased, compared to last week, by 1.4% for gasoline and 1.8% for diesel.
According to the report from ERSE, the efficient price was updated, “taking into account the weekly variation of international prices for regular gasoline by -3.5% and for regular diesel by -3.8%.”
Thus, “for the week of December 11th to 17th, the Preço Eficiente before taxes is €0.775 per liter for regular gasoline and €0.861 for regular diesel. After taxes, the Preço Eficiente is €1.664 per liter for regular gasoline and €1.604 for regular diesel.”

Regarding the previous week, the report states that “the average of the Prices Announced to the Public on the signs, and reported in the Energy Single Counter, was 3 cents per liter above the Preço Eficiente for that week, in the case of regular gasoline, and 4.9 cents above in the case of regular diesel.”
In percentage terms, “regular gasoline was announced on the signs 1.7% above the Preço Eficiente and regular diesel was 2.9% above,” according to the report.
