Nissan has presented the Hyper Punk, the fourth concept that the Japanese brand will reveal at the Tokyo Motor Show (Japan Mobility Show) which will take place at the end of October and anticipates the electric future of the Japanese manufacturer, and which may anticipate some details of the future 100% electric Juke.
After presenting the Hyper Tourer, the Hyper Adventure and the Hyper Urban, the Hyper Punk prototype emerges wrapped in a functional and elegant body style. The Hyper is a compact crossover fully electric with a concept intended, according to the brand, for content creators, influencers, and all those who embrace style and innovation.
In this exercise of style, the exterior aesthetics are defined by multifaceted and polygonal surfaces, highlighting the tones in the silver paint that change depending on the viewing angle and light source. The aerodynamic performance is reinforced by a design characterized by compact protrusions and large 23” wheels, which hints at the versatility of this Hyper Punk, ideal for urban and off-road driving.
Note also the headlights, taillights, and the rear signature that enhance the polygonal shapes and are integrated into the body surface, further accentuating the style of this concept. Designed as a mobile creative studio, the interior offers internet connectivity and can connect to the occupants’ creative devices and equipment, allowing them to access information or create anywhere.
With Artificial Intelligence (AI) and biosensors in the headrest, the Hyper Punk prototype can detect the driver’s mood and automatically select the right music and lighting, increasing their energy and creativity. Inside, the onboard cameras stand out, which can capture the surrounding scenery and use AI to convert it into graphic patterns, according to the driver’s preferences. The images can also be projected onto a three-screen display arranged around the driver, creating a space where reality and the metaverse world merge, according to Nissan.
The Hyper Punk also stands out for being equipped with the vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system, which ensures that users can charge their mobile devices anytime and anywhere while sharing the car’s energy with partners and at local community events.
