Adrián Huertas secured his fifth consecutive victory in the World Supersport Championship this Saturday. In Most, the championship leader continued his dominant streak.
Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team/Ducati) started from pole position and led the first lap ahead of Huertas (Aruba.it Ducati), with Stefano Manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) in third. Manzi took the lead on the second lap, only to be overtaken by Huertas on the following lap.
The Spaniard then began to gradually pull away from Manzi, who found himself under pressure from Montella until he lost second place on the eighth lap. With Huertas isolating himself at the front, the battle for second place provided much of the excitement, involving Valentin Debise as well.
It was the Frenchman from Evan Bros. Yamaha who ultimately prevailed. On lap 17, Montella lost two positions to Manzi and Debise, with the latter securing second place on the final lap of the 19-lap race.
At the front, Huertas was unshakeable, winning with a 3.768s lead over Debise. Manzi finished just 0.134s behind Debise, completing the podium. Montella ended up in fourth place, and Federico Caricasulo (Motozoo ME AIR Racing/MV Agusta) took fifth.
