Tekashi 6ix9ine, also known as Tekashi69, 6ix9ine, Tekashi, and Daniel Hernandez, is currently one of the most controversial figures in the rap scene. Despite being exiled in the Dominican Republic and awaiting sentencing on assault charges, his legal troubles have been well-documented. In April of this year, the IRS raided his home in Lake Worth, FL as part of an investigation into nonpayment of taxes. They confiscated computers and luxury assets, including two of Tekashi’s favorite customized cars: a blue Lamborghini Urus and a green Bentley Continental GT Speed.
The IRS recently auctioned off both vehicles on July 8 through their GSA Auctions platform. Surprisingly, the starting price for both cars was only $20,000, but they sold for a fraction of their value. Considering their eye-catching celebrity pedigree and unique exterior styling, the final selling prices were quite low.
The 2019 Lamborghini Urus, with 49,294 miles on the clock, featured a blue wrap with colorful paint splatters. This vibrant theme was consistent across Tekashi’s car collection. The Urus had a black leather interior and was eventually sold for $175,043.
The other car, a 2017 Bentley Continental GT Speed, had been customized by TPT Foreigns in early 2023 to match the rest of Tekashi’s fleet. It had a neon green wrap with colorful paint splatters and a bright red interior. Despite having fewer miles on the odometer (38,803), this car sold for even less at $85,500. It had suffered damage to the front windows, windshield, and convertible top during a domestic dispute between Tekashi and his girlfriend, which was widely documented on social media.
Despite his ongoing legal troubles, Tekashi remained active on social media until recently, proudly flaunting his fleet of cars and private jet. He often traveled with cases filled with cash and diamond jewelry. However, since the IRS raid in April, he has refrained from such displays. We can only imagine that having his cars seized and sold at auction by the IRS is not a pleasant experience for him.
