The three-time MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo keeps an eye to the premier class and closely follows the vice-world champion Jorge Martín.
In a DAZN documentary, the former rider praised his fellow countrymen: ‘He’s a very natural guy… but he’s a bit hyperactive. For instance, when I gave him advice, he’d listen for two or three seconds and then look at something else or start telling you another story. He wouldn’t listen, but he was a good guy, natural, someone who liked to have fun’.
Lorenzo added: ‘As a rider, he’s super explosive, and what caught my attention the most is his ease in achieving a perfect lap; that’s his greatest quality and shows his natural talent’.
The Spanish broadcaster DAZN will premiere a documentary titled «Martinator: Voluntad de hierro» («Martinator: Iron Will») this week. In the last season, Martín secured the runner-up position in the world championship and battled for the title against Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) until the final race in Valencia.
