The Jeep Renegade is far from dying, as it has just launched a new model year in Brazil. The latest version pays homage to the iconic Willys and is called the Jeep Renegade Willys Edition. This limited edition model builds on the Trailhawk trim level and features exclusive decals on the exterior, including the hood, front fenders, and rear pillars. It also comes with blacked-out elements, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and is available in Recon Green, Jazz Blue, Carbon Black, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, and Polar White paint finishes.
Inside the Jeep Renegade Willys Edition, you’ll find dedicated Willys embossing on the seats, along with leather upholstery, special side sills, and a standard sunroof. The vehicle is equipped with dual-zone air conditioning, a 7-inch digital display behind the steering wheel, an 8.4-inch main screen, and various safety systems.
All versions of the Renegade sold in Brazil are powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that produces 185 horsepower and 199 pound-foot of torque. The Willys Edition, like the Trailhawk, comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. It also boasts a jacked-up suspension, electronic differential lock, low mode and terrain selector, and hill descent control.
The Jeep Renegade Willys Edition is priced at a minimum of R$179,990 in Brazil, which is approximately $31,877. This model sits above the Renegade Trailhawk, which starts at R$173,990 ($30,815). Other variants in the lineup include the Sahara, Night Eagle, Longitude, Altitude, and 1.3 Turbo, with prices ranging from R$115,990 ($20,543) to R$173,990 ($30,815).
It’s important to note that the Renegade Willys Edition is limited to 500 units in Brazil, double the number of the previous Willys model introduced in 2019. The previous model featured a diesel engine, was based on the Longitude grade, and also offered all-wheel drive.
