With Bonovo Action BMW set to cease operations at the end of the season, Garrett Gerloff is actively seeking opportunities to continue in the World Superbike Championship (WSBK). His future may soon be decided, with Puccetti Racing potentially being his next destination.
According to Super7Moto, Puccetti Racing owner Manuel Puccetti is reportedly in negotiations with the American rider and also with Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Motocorsa Racing/Ducati). Gerloff is considered the leading candidate to fill the seat currently occupied by Tito Rabat.
Gerloff made his WSBK debut in 2020 and spent three seasons with the GYTR GRT Yamaha team, where he achieved his first podium finishes before moving to Bonovo Action BMW in 2023.
If the move to Puccetti Racing is confirmed, Gerloff will aim to help the team return to the successes it enjoyed, particularly in 2018 and 2019 with Toprak Razgatlioglu.
