The Audi Q4 Sportback 45 e-tron won the 2024 edition of the Eco Best Challenge in the autonomy category, in a set of tests conducted by Auto Best.
The independent European organization and the specialized automotive industry jury aim to inform and advise European users of 100% electric vehicles on the real efficiency and use of the latest models.
In this way, Auto Best gathered 13 new cars from 13 different manufacturers, which were evaluated under real traffic and everyday road conditions, over seven tests.
The new Audi Q4 Sportback 45 e-tron stood out by presenting an average real range of 471 km, which represents a fidelity of 98.1% compared to the value announced by the brand of 476 km.
The Eco Best Challenge is also the only competition that assesses the vehicle’s behavior after the instrument panel indicator shows a range of ‘0 km’. In this scenario, the Q4 Sportback 45 e-tron still had enough energy reserve to travel 9 km, a distance more than enough to reach the nearest charging station.
With the efficient on-board charger, which accepts a maximum capacity of 135 kW, when connected to a 350 kW charger, the Audi’s 100% electric SUV ended up in the “Top 3” of the fastest models to recover enough energy to travel 100 km, requiring only a 9-minute stop.
“The results of this test are in line with what has been the current direction of Audi, capable of providing premium experiences on board electric vehicles, with the Q4 Sportback 45 e-tron adding enormous versatility of use, allowing the driver to rely on the autonomy announced by the brand.”, highlighted Nuno Mendonça, General Manager of Audi Portugal
