Honda continues to face significant challenges in MotoGP, with no visible results from the development configurations improving the performance of the RC213V—currently the least competitive bike in the field.
Behind the scenes, work is ongoing, and the bike will soon receive new solutions. This was revealed by rider Joan Mir, who stated that there will be developments for Honda’s bike in the upcoming rounds:
– Some big steps are coming in the next races. Maybe in Austria we will be able to have different engine configurations, swingarms, chassis stuff, aero… all these big things will come in the next GPs.
Currently without scoring points for four consecutive rounds, Mir is in 19th place in the championship. The Repsol Honda Spaniard has 13 points, one less than the rider immediately ahead – Johann Zarco (LCR Honda).
