The rider lineup for MT Helmets-MSi for the 2025 Moto2 season has been confirmed. The team will promote Iván Ortolá from Moto3 while retaining Sergio García, who currently leads the championship.
With Ai Ogura being announced by Trackhouse Racing for MotoGP, it was known that MT Helmets-MSi would need to find at least one new rider. They chose to promote from within, elevating Ortolá, who is currently competing in Moto3 with the Spanish team.
The 20-year-old Spaniard is in his third consecutive season in the category and is having his strongest season yet. He already has two victories and is currently second in the championship.
As for García, aged 21, he moved up to Moto2 last year and joined MT Helmets-MSi following the exit of Pons Racing from the intermediate category. He is currently leading the championship, and with no MotoGP opportunity available, it makes sense for both parties to continue their collaboration.
