Setting new standards for reimaginations of the Mercedes-Benz G Class, one of the world’s most renowned off-roaders, the Arcade Sojourn is a completely restored and updated, bespoke luxury 4×4 based on the GE 230 model. Headquartered in London with operations in the vehicle’s birthplace, Austria, and facilities in the home of Mercedes-Benz, Stuttgart, Germany, Arcade Cars has forged expert relationships with industry leaders – and now joins forces with Everrati.
Building upon its growing stable of sustainable luxury icons, the G Class models used as the basis for the exciting new Sojourn – like all Everrati products – will use the company’s highly-developed electrification approach, resulting in an enhanced zero emission driving experience. Bespoke designed and developed, the advanced electric powertrain solution for the Sojourn will give Arcade’s discerning customers a cutting edge, fully zero emission electric option, alongside a conventional, or enhanced, ICE choice.
Available with a 55kWh battery, combined with an electric motor offering 112kW and 300Nm of torque, Everrati’s state-of-the-art, fully integrated, OEM-grade proprietary powertrain will give the Sojourn a 150-mile range, keeping the spirit of the original, but bringing it fully up to date, embodying sustainable luxury.
Emerging from the collaborative efforts of Mercedes-Benz and Steyr-Daimler-Puch, the GE 230 epitomised ruggedness, durability, and versatility. Serving in military, civilian, and expeditionary roles, it became synonymous with adventure, reliability, and luxury. As the G-Class evolved over the years, incorporating modern technologies and amenities while preserving its timeless design and off-road prowess, the legacy of the GE 230 endured, leaving an indelible mark on the automotive landscape as an enduring symbol of capability and endurance.
Fully restored and redefined, the two-door, six or eight-seater, soft top, remastered Arcade Sojourn is completely customisable to the owner’s individual specifications. With all donor vehicles being
ex-Swiss Military, the Sojourn is very much the authentic, rugged, elegant G Class seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge technology. Modern conveniences range from the finest interior materials to the very latest entertainment systems and advanced vehicle control and safety features, bridging the gap between tradition and innovation.
Building upon Everrati’s growing stable of sustainable luxury icons, the Arcade Sojourn will join the company on stand at the Pebble Beach Concours this week with strictly limited pre-order slots for available during Car Week.
