Ola Electric has unveiled details about the new Roadster Pro, which may well be one of the most complete electric motorcycles ever conceived. The specifications are impressive.
This model, along with the Roadster and Roadster X, is already available for pre-order but has yet to hit the market. The Roadster Pro is designed for both roads and tracks, offering a range that can reach up to 579 km with the 16 kWh battery (316 km with the 8 kWh battery).
The top speed also varies (194 km/h or 154 km/h), while the charging time from 0 to 100 percent is 7.5 hours for the Roadster Pro 16 and 3.7 hours for the Roadster Pro 8, using a 2.2 kW home charger.
The frame is of the double cradle type, with the batteries placed where the fuel tank and engine would be on conventional motorcycles. The swingarm pivot can be adjusted up or down depending on the rider’s needs. The bike features disc brakes on both wheels, a USD fork at the front, and a mono-shock at the rear.
In terms of technology, highlights include cornering ABS, traction control, collision warning system, 5G connectivity, and even a voice assistant, among other features. It’s also possible to play games on the touchscreen – an aspect whose practicality we question, at least while in motion…
Everything you know about motorcycling. And everything you don't. Introducing the Roadster Pro.
