Franco Morbidelli continues to make progress as the MotoGP season reaches its midpoint. The rider, who will continue to ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP24 next year, has been growing after being forced to miss the pre-season due to injury.
Last Sunday, the Prima Pramac rider finished eighth in the Austrian GP. This marked his fifth consecutive top-ten finish, and for the fourth time this year, he scored points in both the main race and the Sprint race.
After the race at the Red Bull Ring, Morbidelli was asked if he believes his feeling with the bike is improving. In response, the Italian stated:
– Definitely yes. Such races are very useful for me to fight in the mud. It’s what we have to do right now, what we’re doing right now. But we are doing it well and it will pay off in the future for sure.
