Tony Arbolino was rumored to make a move to MotoGP in 2024, but ultimately stayed in Moto2, aiming to contend for the championship with Elf Marc VDS next year.
His manager, Carlo Pernat, highlighted to Moto.it that it was a decision based on ambition, while the financial terms also favor the Italian rider:
– Out of ambition. Yes. Discreetly, including everything from gear to bonuses but excluding bonuses, he’s at around 500,000 euros. He got a good contract. Besides, Marc [van der Straten] is a friend of mine, and I’ve known [Chiara] Baroone for 40 years.
