Jorge Martín has been with Pramac Racing since moving to MotoGP in 2021, but after finishing as the runner-up last year, his journey is coming to an end. In 2025, he aims to be in a factory team, and if not with Ducati, he has already admitted to considering other manufacturers.
All other manufacturers may have open slots for the next year, as they have at least one of their current riders out of contract. One of them is Repsol Honda, where both Joan Mir and Luca Marini are only committed until 2024.
Pramac owner Paolo Campinoti doesn’t rule out Martín joining the Japanese manufacturer. Considering it as ‘certain’ that it will be Martín’s last season with Pramac, the Italian told La Gazzetta dello Sport that the future could involve Honda:
– I think he’s leaving. He could go to Honda; they need a strong rider, and among the younger ones, he is certainly the one who provides the most guarantees.
