Marco Bezzecchi had a surgery on his right shoulder last October due to an injury, being inserted plates and screws as sometimes the doctors do to consolidate broken bones. Despite being fully recovered from the injury itself, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 rider will still have that material inside his body.
The Italian explained during a press conference: ‘The shoulder now is good. I still have the plates and screws inside. I think I will keep it for all the season, because this year I hadn’t time to remove it – because the plates and everything needs to be inside for at least six months and six months from the surgery is exactly when the championship starts. So I will have to ride all the year with the plates inside of me’.
In any case, Bezzecchi assured that he hasn’t any issues with the shoulder: ‘Apart from this the shoulder is now working well, I tried again on the Ranch, I tried again motocross and it’s working fine. And I’m training, trying to arrive competitive for the beginning of the season as every rider I think’.
