Thanks to the new concession system, Honda can do up to six wildcards in the 2024 MotoGP season. For now, there are three confirmed participations for the test rider Stefan Bradl
During this week’s private tests at Jerez, the German revealed the plans in an interview with the website SPEEDWEEK.com: ‘We will be testing all year round and at many tracks. So far, I’ve had 25 to 30 testing days per year, now it’s going to be 40’, he said.
As for the wildcards, Bradl revealed that Honda has already plans to the first part of the season: ‘From time to time there is also racing, we’ve applied for wildcards at Jerez [Spanish GP], Barcelona [Catalan GP] and Sachsenring [German GP]. That’s the plan for the first half of the season’.
