Yamaha is currently one of the less competitive bikes in the MotoGP field. Less than two weeks ago, there was an official test day in Misano, and Fabio Quartararo will be using a component from that test in the Indian GP.
The 2021 champion stated in a press conference that the test allowed them to find improvements: ‘We’ve tried many things – even since the preseason this year we kept everything like last year. So finally at least, if it’s really small we could find something a little bit positive’.
Asked if he will be using in India any of the material tested in Misano, Quartararo confirmed: ‘Yeah. We’ll try the spoon under the swingarm and that’s the only thing we will use this weekend’.
